Our Student Leaders demonstrate a range of skills, including vision, reliability, commitment, and compassion, that help them grow their capacity to take on responsibilities in addition to their academic and co-curricular learning.
The student body and its faculty choose the students they wish to lead them, with nominees asked to share their reasons for wanting a leadership role, and what they can bring to the position on behalf of their peers. There are roles for students at all level of schooling:
Four Captains take up the helm for the Junior and Middle Schools, with our Year 12 College Captains in the highest position of representation for our students. There are also two House Leaders each for Barry, Dalton, Fitzpatrick, and McAuley Houses at the highest Year Level for each School (Year 5, Year 9, and Year 12), who take charge of cultivating House spirit and strengthening vertical connections between students.
Year 12 Portfolio Leaders champion personal passions, such as Arts, Sports, Social Justice, and our International Student Programme, and all Year Levels have the opportunity to be a member of their Student Representative Committees.
