Enrolment Policy

Completing an Application for Enrolment form does not guarantee a position within the College.

Our Enrolment Policy and Priority Criteria is used where demand exceeds the number of available enrolment positions.

The enrolment of students at Mercedes College is the responsibility of the Principal who uses their discretion in applying the criteria.

As a Catholic school, it is the expectation of Mercedes College that all families are supportive of the ethos and philosophy we uphold.

Priority is given to children:

  • with siblings enrolled at Mercedes College
  • of Mercedes College old scholars
  • of Catholic families (those who have attended a regional parish school will have some priority)
  • of denominations other than Catholic, who have attended a regional parish school
  • and families of other denominations.
