Apply online

We would love you to join our Mercedes community. If you would like to apply for enrolment at the College, the first step is to submit an online Application Form, as the date listed on this form, will determine your position on our waiting lists.

Submit your online Application for Enrolment form.

Students most commonly join our community from Reception, Year 3, Year 5, Year 7 or Year 10, however, we are always happy to receive applications for any year level, depending on your family's circumstances eg: international or interstate re-location. So please always get in touch and we'd be happy to talk to you.

So that we can meet your needs and to help ensure you are entered onto our waitlists, we recommend submitting your application two years before your child intends to start at the College.

International Students need to complete our International Student Programme Enrolment Application Form or enrol through a College approved Education Agent.

Interview

Once we have received your Enrolment Application, the next step in the process, if there is a space available, is to have an Enrolment Interview.

Families and children meet with our Head of School (Junior, Middle or Senior) or our Year Level Leaders to talk about the College, and also what families are looking for.

It's a great opportunity to ask questions about Mercedes and for us to share more about our life on Campus.

The next step in the process, is to move to a Formal Offer of Enrolment.

When you receive the Offer, families need to:

  1. Sign and return the 'Acceptance of Position'.
  2. Pay the Confirmation Fee.
This is a non-refundable fee, but a portion will be credited to your first school fee invoice.

Welcome!

We have an Orientation Day in November each year, for all new students who will be joining Mercedes the following year.

It is a great chance for current and new students to meet each other, and for new students to get to know their teachers, classrooms and more about life at Mercedes College.

Our Orientation Day makes arriving to school in Term 1 a little more familiar, with a few connections with others already made!

Have any questions?

If you'd like to find out more about our Enrolment process, or any other aspect of Mercedes College, we are here to help and would love to hear from you.

Please get in touch!

Completing an Application for Enrolment form does not guarantee a position within Mercedes College.

Our Enrolment Policy and Priority Criteria is used where demand exceeds the number of available positions.

The enrolment of students at Mercedes College is the responsibility of the Principal, who applies their discretion in considering the criteria.

At Mercedes College, we live out our Mercy Keys. These are values that influence how we act and how we treat each other. It is expected that families who join Mercedes College are supportive of this ethos and our Mercy Keys.

Priority is given to children:

  1.  who have siblings enrolled at Mercedes College.

  2.  who are children of Old Scholars.

  3.  of Catholic families (those who have attended a regional parish school or partner Catholic school will have some priority).

  4.  families of other denominations.
