Appointment of Deputy Principal

Having embraced our commitment to teaching and learning excellence since joining us earlier this year, we’re delighted to announce that Narelle Sandercock is our new Deputy Principal, leading the operational delivery of evidence-based educational practices across our Reception to Year 12 campus.

A self-proclaimed lifelong learner, Narelle is renowned for respectfully challenging the status quo, collaborating for success and actively fostering a strong sense of community.

Narelle lives our Mercy values daily, in conversation with our team of educators, students and their families, ensuring we are delivering an ever evolving and better education for our students.

As a proud co-ed International Baccalaureate world school, Narelle lives our Mercy values daily, with families, our team and students. Passionate about high quality educational outcomes, she brings more than 20 years of pedagogical experience for each age and stage of learning for our Reception to Year 12 students.

As a leader, she strives to positively influence teaching and learning practices through the rigour of system excellence and embracing change having previously led contemporary curriculum design and authentic assessment, as well as digital learning platform initiatives and integrated learning.

She holds a Bachelor of Education (Specialisation), Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement), and post graduate qualifications including a Master of Education (Leadership and Management) and Graduate Certificate of Religious Education.
