Playgroup Registration

Mercedes College Playgroup is for children aged 0-5 years to learn and play through a range of structured activities.

All activities are age appropriate and strengthen the fundamental early childhood developmental skills. Some of these include fine/gross motor skills, language skills, collaborative skills, sensory skills and social skills.

The playgroup encourages free play where children are encouraged to choose, experiment and play at their own pace.

Playgroup is held on Wednesday mornings during school terms between 9:30am - 11:00am.

Playgroup Cost

  • $5 for one child per session ($45 per term)
  • $7 for two or more children per session ($65 per term)

You may like to pay for the full term in advance to secure your place in Playgroup.

Playgroup Facilities

Playgroup is held at Mercedes College in the Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) room. We provide indoor and outdoor activities for children to participate in free play and to enjoy the school facilities.

Parents are welcome to help themselves to tea and coffee and bathroom facilities are situated next to the OSHC room. We ask that everyone helps to pack up towards the end of a session, before stories and songs.

Please provide the details of the parent/guardian who will be attending playgroup.

We collect health information so we are aware of any potential health issues that may impact on your children when attending playgroup. This information will only be used for the specific purpose of assessing health risks within the playgroup environment and if there is an incident related to the health condition while at playgroup. The information will be stored securely and only accessed by the key person/s managing the operation of the playgroup.
