Sweeping views of the coastline from many areas throughout the College provides classrooms with the feeling of space.

Location, Access and Bus Information

Nestled at the base of the Adelaide Foothills, 6km South of the city centre of Adelaide, Mercedes College is positioned on 6.5 hectares of land overlooking sweeping views of the Adelaide coastline providing a sense of space, wellbeing, and a calm and pleasant environment.

College Entrance

The College is accessible by car through two entry points. The Fullarton Road entrance is the drop off area for Middle and Senior School students and for visitors to the McAuley Office.

Delamere Avenue is the Junior School Kiss and Drop entrance and access point for visitors to Strathspey Reception, the main administration building.

Southern Bus Service

The Mercedes College Southern Bus Service operates daily and is a private bus for Mercedes College students only.

The bus service departs from Old Reynella and travels through Happy Valley, Flagstaff Hill, Aberfoyle Park, Coromandel Valley, Craigburn Farm, Blackwood, Belair and on to the College. Additional stops along the route are available if required. Click here to view the map.

Annual and term passes (see pricing below) will automatically be added to your Family Account upon confirmation of booking via the online booking form or through emailing the college directly at mercedes@mercedes.catholic.edu.au.

North-Eastern Bus Service

The Mercedes College North-Eastern Bus Service operates daily and is a private bus for Mercedes College students only. 

The service departs from The Parade, Norwood and travels to the College via Portrush Road, Kensington Road, Stuart Road, Greenhill Road, Portrush Road, Bevington Road (Cnr Eringa Ave), Glen Osmond Road and Waite Road. Additional stops along the route are available if required. Casual passes can be purchased from Strathspey Reception between 8:00am and 4.30pm during the school term.

Adelaide Metro

The College is also accessible by a public bus service (Adelaide Metro) that transports students from the nearby Mitcham and Adelaide Hills areas and drops them at the bus stop located right outside the school gates. Adelaide Metro also provides links from all parts of the Adelaide metropolitan area to Springfield.

Starting at Port Adelaide and travelling through Alberton, Cheltenham, Woodville, Croydon Park, Brompton, North Adelaide, Fitzroy, Medindie, Walkerville, Marden, Joslin, St Peters, Stepney, Norwood, Kensington, Kensington Gardens, Rosslyn Park, Wattle Park, Erindale, Burnside, Leabrook, Hazelwood Park, Beaumont, St Georges, Glen Osmond, Myrtle Bank, Netherby and Torrens Park.

Deliveries to the College
